How MultiBall works
MultiBall doesn't use cameras. The frame holds a grid of infrared sensors developed by the manufacturer, which register any ball or object over 2.5 cm, at speeds up to 250 km/h, in about 40 milliseconds. That's fast enough that the game reacts the instant the ball lands.
Because the sensors don't rely on what a camera can see, the wall keeps working in bright light and outdoors. Several players can throw at once and every hit is counted.

MultiBall hire FAQ
How long does MultiBall take to set up?
The flight-cased walls take a two-person crew around 2–5 hours depending on size, and the folding wall is ready in under an hour. We arrive in good time and test everything before doors open.
What power does MultiBall need?
Power needed: Standard UK 13amp plug. Send us a photo of the space and we'll check the power and access before your event.
Does MultiBall need internet?
The games run without internet. For live online leaderboards, player sign-ups and remote support, a wired internet connection at the venue is best, or a 5G router can be used.
Is it safe?
Yes. Players use foam balls or the right ball for the game, the LED panels sit behind an impact-resistant cover, and the stainless steel frame protects the sensors. We mark out the play area and can supply an attendant.
Do we need staff to run it?
MultiBall runs itself once it's set up. Guests choose a game and play. For busy events we recommend adding our attendant, or one or two of your team, to run competitions and manage the queue.
